Basic Plot: After Rocket steals from a particularly self-centered alien race, the Guardians crash-land on a planet, where Peter Quill finally meets his father, a being known as a Celestial, who has the ability to create entire planets.  The Celestial, known as Ego, invites Peter, Gamora, and Drax to visit the planet he has created, but everything there is not as it seems…

Rating (Out of 4): 3

Pros: There seems to be more laughs in this one, thanks in no small part to Drax, who is absolutely hilarious.  Another great soundtrack of 60s and 70s songs that perfectly compliments the film.  Kurt Russell, Dave Bautista, and an extremely strong performance from Michael Rooker stand out among the great performances from all involved.

Cons: Too much time spent with the Guardians being split up.
