Rating (Out of 4): 3
Pros: John C. Reilly steals every single scene he’s in. The special effects are great, with Kong appearing in his largest size ever. Great creature-on-creature battle scenes. Doesn’t spend a lot of time on long-winded speeches.
Cons: It takes a while to actually get to Skull Island. Could have used a lot more of John C. Reilly.
