Rating (Out of 4): 4
Pros: An origin story done right, with great special effects, production design, action, humor, and thrills. All of the actors and actresses do amazing work here, with special mention going to Christopher Reeve in the title role, and Gene Hackman as Luthor.
Cons: The beginning kind of drags a bit, and one particular ability of Superman’s, towards the end of the film, seems fairly ridiculous.
