Year of Release: 2016

Genre: Comic Book

Related to/Remake of: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014)

Directed By: Michael Bay

Starring: Pete Ploszek (as Leonardo)

Basic Plot: After defeating The Shredder in the first movie, he is freed from prison and joins forces with an interdimensional being known as Krang who desires to destroy planet Earth.  The turtles struggle with trying to live in the shadows while desiring to live more “normal” lives.  A scientist using genetic engineering creates two mutated animal/human hybrids to take on the turtles, choosing two bumbling low-level criminals as the test subjects.  A disgraced cop named Casey Jones joins forces with April and the turtles to help fight crime.  There’s basically a whole lot of stuff going on that amounts to very little.

Rating (Out of 4): 1

Pros: A couple of fun action scenes, and nothing else.

Cons: Lame plot, poor acting, bad script, Tyler Perry, unconvincing CGI characters.  As bad as the first installment of this attempt at rebooting the franchise was, this is, incredibly, even worse.
