Basic Plot: Three college students begin chronicling the comings and goings of a mysterious hunter in Norway who eventually reveals that he’s tracking and hunting trolls.  The students are at first amused, but when he agrees to let them accompany him on his hunts, they come to realize that there’s nothing funny about “troll hunting”.

Rating (Out of 4): 3

Pros: All of the actors and actresses appear completely committed to the concept, and generally display realistic reactions to the situation.  Otto Jespersen, in particular, does fantastic work as the weary titular character, a man who’s fed up with the secrecy of his work as well as haunted by his past actions in relation to eradicating trolls.

Cons: The runtime is a bit too long, and this film suffers from what a lot of “found footage” films suffer from: during certain situations, it’s completely unbelievable that anyone would continue filming.  The special effects are, for the most part, fairly sub-par by today’s standards.
